In this video, the author argues that Zizioulas is not a social trinitarian, using Holmes’ criticism of Zizioulas projecting the primacy of the Bishop onto the monarchy of the Father, and vice versa.
The author argues that this is not the case, as Zizioulas’ ecclesiology is founded on theosis as participation in Christ. This was a PhD seminar based at the University of Birmingham.
