Prof. Nikos Tzoitis Presenting Metropolitan John's Book in Italian
As part of the eighteenth edition of "Listening, Reading, Growing," a series of encounters with religious publishing, the volume "Remembering the Future: For an Ontology in an Eschatological Perspective" will be presented in Rome, featuring an interview with Professor Nikos Tzoitis.
Demonstrating how the future influences our present is challenging, as we are immersed in a world where dominant rationality circles back to origins. From this view, the future is defined by what is “given” or “factual.” This book speaks to those who accept the challenge of Christ’s resurrection, seeking to understand its implications: credo ut intelligam (“I believe so that I may understand”). The reader is invited to consider the central assertion that, logically and ontologically, the future precedes the past, framing Christian theology as a hermeneutic of resurrection.
